Betty Worley 1936-2020

Betty Worley, born February 3, 1936 in Norman, Oklahoma to Homer and Ruby Landrum, passed away on November 23, 2020 in Bishop, California.
Betty moved to Bishop in the summer of 1962 in a Fiat with her husband (now deceased), 4 children, and a dog named Jigger. She loved the town of Bishop and made it clear to her family that she never wanted to leave.
She worked and retired from Safeway (now Vons) after more than 30 years of service. She had a strong work ethic, determined to make sure that her family did not go without everything they needed. In addition to being an excellent provider for her children, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzle, ceramics, and watching funny videos. Betty was loved by all that knew her, family and friends alike. Her family is extremely proud of her and will miss her sorely.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, 6 siblings, and her daughter-in-law Teresa Worley of Sandy, Utah. Betty is survived by her children Georgia Ross of Bishop, California, Wayne and Tracy Worley of Antelope, California, Terry Worley of Sandy, Utah, and Barry and Claudia Worley of Alberta Canada. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Berdeen Brown and Niccole Purcell for all their help and care.
