The heart is never ready, the time is never right to say goodbye. Cecil Crawford fought the good fight and on December 17, 2024, joined his Heavenly Father, his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his Heavenly Family. Cecil was a Loving Son, Husband, Son-in-law, Brother-in-law, Uncle, Grand Uncle, Cousin and Friend. Cecil was an excellent cook and loved to BBQ. He enjoyed cooking for family holidays, birthdays and spontaneous gatherings. He was known for “Uncle Cecil’s Ribs”, “Uncle Cecil’s Bean Dip”“Beer Pancakes” at Walker Lake and Cecil’s Deli when he would fix lunches for Britt’s Diesel, where his wife worked. No one went away hungry and he always sent “travelers” with everyone. Cecil’s generosity knew no bounds. He deeply loved his family and friends. Our heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care Cecil received during his many Doctor appointments, tests, blood draws, infusions, radiation treatments, and emergency visits, to Carson-Tahoe Cancer Center Dr. Dina K. Tack, M.D., McKenzie Comba, PA-C and Staff, Terrie Bybee RN, BSN, Brie Serfoss, and Klanci Madieros. Carson-Tahoe Radiation Oncology Associates Gary E Campbell, MD and Staff.
